 Great portable bed for anytime, anywhere August 25, 2010

The first time I saw this bed I thought it was flimsy looking but it is actually quite sturdy and I'm no longer worried about the quality of it. My husband and father in-law put it together very quickly. We first bought it to use on a trip to Vermont in December when my son was 8 months old and he slept great in it and we never encountered any problems. It folds flat so that travelling with it is very easy and can easily fit in the trunk of a SUV or mini van however it wouldn't fit in the truck of a standard car unless the seats folded down. My son (now 16 months old) also slept in this crib for 2 weeks while visiting grandma at the lake house this summer. I have ordered a second one for our second baby (due in 2 months) and this will be his regular crib which I plan to put in our empty walk-in closet in my bedroom (yes, it fits with room to spare). The only thing I do recommend is upgrading to a thicker mattress, the one it comes with is so thin it curls once you put sheets on it. I would also recomment getting a mattress pad to make it a little more comfortable. By the time our second baby is too big for this crib, his brother will be old enough for a toddler bed.

Purchased 3 of these for my new home daycare. The cherry color is my number one complaint as far as it is very red and does not match any other "cherry" colored products in my room such as the cherry Storkcraft glider nor the cherry Badger Basket corner changing table. The mattress is also very thin as stated in other reviews, however, for a daycare it is ok as the babies are only napping on them. I would not recommend the mattress for night time use. I love the fact that these do easily fold up into a reasonably compact space and I can roll them out of the way on the weekends!

I am a home daycare provider,I was looking for the right price and the right features. I ordered 3 cribs in natural the cribs are beautiful and are the size of a playpen I have a 10 month & 11 month old their cribs are in the playpen position and a 3 month old his crib in in the crib position. I love the fact that if needed the cribs can fold flat however the mattress that came with the cribs was a joke I had to order mattress for the cribs. But even with that I think the cribs are a great deal. I have 10 daycare children and so far the cribs have taken the bumps from the other kids fine. It took about 2 hrs to put all 3 cribs together,we started using the cribs about 2 weeks ago and so far we love them. Overall a good deal for the money. If the mattress was better I would have given crib 4 stars. Amazon is the way to order not only did the cribs come very quickly but no shipping charge.

Great price, great look and comfortable for small spaces like keeping your grand baby overnight or nap time when visiting. The natural wood is beautful and very easy to assemble.
The 3 inch mattress is good, the mattress that comes with in is very flmsey and no support for the baby.

this is a very useful items, however, its quality is very poor (furthermore, it cam with a crack on one of the sides, so that the side cannot be lowered because of that)
