Bought this for our one year old after growing out of a bassinette and then a Graco portable crib. Now she is 3yrs about 32" and 35lbs. (I think) basically she is about the size of an average 4-5 year old and she is just now growing out of it. My wife put it together without using the instructions and the only pitfall was some of the screws are 1/4" longer then the others, so we had to take each of the other screws out to find the four longer ones. Obviously this is not a manufactures' fault :) Between my 8 year old nephew and my niece who is the same age as my daughter, the crib has held together fantastically. The drawer was always over loaded, but never broke or stuck. and the white paint has held up as well.
